What to look for when ordering beef with Shake Shack
The burger chain has been accused of causing “significant and potentially life-threatening” illnesses after two of its restaurants were found to have been serving up contaminated beef.
A spokeswoman for the restaurant chain said she was not aware of any health concerns related to the beef.
“We are not aware that any illness or disease has been reported,” the spokeswoman said.
The spokesperson said Shake Shack had taken the “first steps” to address the problem.
The company said it would be contacting customers with questions.
